Training Center
- Youth Training for all skill levels
The Soccer City Training Center intends to help develop youth soccer players at various stages of development. The Training Center is designed to help individual players acquire skills for future technical and physical development. Players will learn how to play and learn within a specialized group training environment. Players will be taught individual technical skills in 1 v 1 attacking and defending, group attacking and defending, passing, receiving, movement off of the ball and much more.
This year’s Training Center is directed by Soccer City staff member Tim Larocca. Coach Larocca is also the Assistant Men’s Soccer Coach at Western New England University and the Assistant Coach of the Western Mass Pioneers PDL team. He holds the United States Soccer Federation “A” License and the NSCAA Advanced National Diploma. Participants of the Training Center will also experience match play within our youth leagues. The developmental focus players are taught during the midweek training session will be emphasized and applied in the match play against local area teams. With the participation in games, players will be exposed to when and where to perform specific technical and/or tactical skills based on game situations.Find registration information and dates in the link below.
Kid's Club
- Beginner's Soccer in a fun environment
Kid’s Club at Soccer City is a six week soccer specific program for ages 3 to 5. All participants will be introduced to fundamental skills such as proper soccer-related movements and individual skills. Our curriculum is designed to ensure that children learn through a variety of games and activities that encourage development, cooperation and FUN! As a treat for the children, our classes finish with the opportunity to play on our “Dino Slide!” Kid’s Club instructors this year will be Tim Larocca and Sarah Jaskula. Soccer City Vacation School
- Total Soccer when School is Out
Vacation School is for the kid who can't be without soccer, and the parent who needs to find a great way to fill those vacation days for their children. Total Soccer is really what our camps are all about. From the basics to the most advanced skill training anywhere, Total Soccer is for players of just about any age and any level. It would be silly to think that the kids don't get to have any fun though, during the summer there's swimming time, our indoor camps feature dodgeball, our famous dino slide, and lunch is included for all full day campers!
